"Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes."  Carl Jung

I am a lifelong learner, reader, and seeker of wisdom.

Deep connection with others is important to me – and equally, a deep connection with myself. It is from this foundation that I came to the counseling profession, after spending the early years of my career as an attorney. During that time, I specialized in working with families involved in high-conflict divorce and custody disputes.

Now, as a therapist, I combine my passion for connection with the skills and training necessary to bring true healing and growth for my clients.

My counseling philosophy is based on a strong belief in each individual’s ability to heal and evolve throughout their lifetime. My practice is grounded in a positive and person-centered orientation that emphasizes an insightful understanding of each client’s unique experiences.

Combining aspects of deeper, insight-oriented theories along with more practical, cognitive, and behavioral components, I am able to serve each client in a completely individual way.

I am proud to affirm and work with people of all gender identities, sexual orientations, religions, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, ages and abilities.

"The universe is not outside of you.  Look inside yourself; everything that you want, you already are."   Rumi

My belief is that wellbeing arises through a synthesis of practices that serve our bodies, minds and spirits. Along with therapy, mindfulness and meditation can be an integral part of our overall mental and physical health.

As a certified meditation and mindfulness teacher, I strive to share elements of these time-tested practices with clients of all ages.

This helps individuals to reach a deeper understanding of their own challenges, and to be more open to positive change. It can also just help us to relax and experience life in the present moment.

Encouraging a strong focus on self-awareness, I am able to  guide clients to achieve emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual wellbeing through the counseling relationship.
